Director Andrew Ahn’s delightfully funny, flawed film is about a chosen family navigating cultural identity, homosexuality, and family expectations. Frustrated by her commitment-averse boyfriend Chris and running out of time, Min proposes a green card marriage to her friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee’s expensive IVF.
